Databases with Psychology & other Social Science Articles
Access these databases by clicking on the title link below, then on the title in the Alphabetical List that appears.
InfoTrac Databases
A group of databases which contain magazine, journal and newspaper articles on a wide range of topics. Click the link above, then on InfoTrac Databases. Next, click the gray “Continue” button to search them all at once (or select only the ones you want). Search by Subject, or click “Advanced Search” to enter a combination of keywords.
Sage Premier
Contains scholarly articles on many Social Science disciplines, including Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Communication and more. Click “Advanced Search” to enter more than one keyword. Create a free account to save/e-mail articles.
Wilson OmniFile/Social Sciences Full-Text
Multi-disciplinary database which includes Social Science content. Check the box for Social Science Full-Text and/or OmniFile at the top of the page before searching.
Science Direct
Contains scholarly articles in the Health Sciences as well as some coverage of psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, psychiatric nursing, etc. For full-text articles, click on “Search” in the green toolbar, enter your term(s), and select “Subscribed Sources” in the “Source” menu.
PsycInfo(abstracts)
One of the oldest databases of psychology information, PsycInfo contains citations and abstracts (no full-text) of scholarly articles on all aspects of psychology. Click the link above, then on PsycInfo. Next, check the box for PsycInfo and/or any other database you would like to search, and click "Continue to Search" at the top or bottom of the page.

Finding information about Psychological Tests & Measures
Mental Measurements Yearbook Database
This database contains the same information as the print MMY 9th through 17th editions
Reviews and information about all English-language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology and related areas. Each entry contains an overview of the test, descriptions of the test materials, scoring inforation, author and publication information. (NOTE: The test itself is not included).
